The Royal Australian Mint is proud to again feature Bindi, Australia Zoo’s most renowned crocodile, on this 40 mm colour printed silver proof coin as the second 2013 release for this series.
Bindi has been at Australia Zoo for the past 25 years and was Steve Irwin’s favourite crocodile, so much so he named his daughter after her
This amazing series will appeal to those passionate about native animals as they will love the Australian Saltwater Crocodiles collection.
This colour printed silver proof coin features an actual image of Bindi which was sourced from Australia Zoo.
Displayed in a leatherette case with a beautifully designed outer box and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, this second Bindi coin release ties in nicely with the first release of the 40 mm silver frosted uncirculated coin.
This coin is available for sale on 4 February 2013 and has a limited mintage of 5000.
